Q: When does camp officially begin and end? A: Check-in begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 29th and we dismiss at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 3rd. Please try to pick up your daughter no later than noon on the 3rd.
Q: What is your policy on camp fees and/or cancellations? A: All unpaid fees are due by June 21. Cancellations made before June 21 are subject to a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made on or after June 21 are subject to a $100 processing fee. All refunds (less the processing fee) will be mailed out from the Camp Office in August.
Other Fees: Other Fees: A $50 fee will be charged to the enrollee for lost keys. A $25.00 fee will be charged to the enrollee for lost meal tickets.
Q: What forms do I need to fill out to be registered for camp at UCLA: A: Enrollment Form FCA Permission Waiver Form UCLA Permission Waiver Form - bring to camp with you along with your insurance card

Q: Where do I go when I get to UCLA? A: The Girl's Check-In will be in front of the Rieber Vista Dormitory. You will receive a map with directions as part of your enrollment confirmation.
Q: Do I need to bring bedding? A: Bedding is provided. You will received a pillow, blanket and towel. However, you are welcome to bring extra bedding.
Q: How do I contact my daughter during the week of camp? A: Call the front desk of the Rieber Vista Dormitory at (310) 825-2275. A: In case of an emergency, contact the Girls' Camp Director, Debbie Jobe at: (214) 906-0970.
Q: What airport should I fly into? A: LAX is the most convenient. Burbank and John Wayne Airport (Orange County) are within an hour of UCLA.
Q: Can we take the train? A: Yes. The Amtrak and Metrolink provide service to LA Union Station.
Q. How do we get our daughter from the Airport or Train Station to UCLA? A: We do have have the staff to provide the transportation service so we recommend using the Roadrunner Shuttle. Be sure to let them know you are going to FCA Camp and you will receive a discount. Their phone # is: (800) 247-7919.
Q: Do I need to bring extra money? A: All of your meals are provided. However, if you want FCA merchandise from our Camp Store or snacks from the Concession Stand, you'll need to bring some extra cash.
Q: What kind of clothing should I pack? A: Modest attire is required at all times during Camp. Mornings and evenings can be cool. Bring warm clothing. Keep your clothing and equipment simple - Camp is casual. Bring shoes and equipment you will need for the clinic sessions of your sport. Be sure all personal belongings are well marked with your name.
Do not bring jewelry, radios, CD players, mp3 players, electronic games or other expensive items. FCA will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Bring your own water bottle and sun block. A Bible will be provided.
Make sure to pack toiletries such as: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.
Q: Basketball practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, non-marking basketball shoes and water bottle.
Q: Softball practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, cleats, bat, glove and water bottle. Athletes will be transported each day by bus to Mid Valley Practice Facility. They will be accompanied by FCA Staff and the Softball Clinicians.
Q: Sprint and Distance practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, running shoes, stop watch and water bottle.
Q: Volleyball practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, non-marking court shoes, knee-pads (if desired) and water bottle.
Q: Soccer practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, cleats, shin-guards and water bottle.
Q: Equipment for Surfing? A: Our Surfing Camp is for beginning levels. You may bring your own surfboard or boogie board. “Soft boards” are best if possible. Wet suits are not always necessary but they are good to have. We will have a limited supply to share. Bring the usual beach accessories to protect yourself from the sun: a hat, sunblock. It would also help to have a backpack or bag to carry your things down to the beach--we'll be there all day. The surfers will be transported by bus each day to the beach. They will be accompanied by FCA Staff, a FCA trainer as well as Clinicians. Modest swim wear please.
Q: Tennis practice gear? A: Shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes, tennis racquet and water bottle.
