Anacapa dorm is immediately on your left.

Where do I park? Please download a 60 minute parking permit so you can unload your bags and check in to the dorms. You will receive a different parking permit for the week once you check in! Park near the dorm in time zones, staff spaces, vendor spaces, or service spaces. FCA will not be responsible for tickets you receive, so please follow UCSB's guidelines closely!
What if I'm flying in? Make sure you have filled out the travel form. If you are flying into the Santa Barbara airport, someone from our FCA Camp Staff will be picking you up. If you are flying in to another airport, we will do our best to arrange a car pool with another Huddle Leader.
How can I arrange to car pool with someone? The easiest way would be to join our Facebook group - Santa Barbara FCA Camp Huddle Leaders 2008!
Does FCA pay for my travel expenses? FCA will reimburse your cost for driving with the following conditions: - You car pool with another Huddle Leader (from either the Boys or Girls Camp). - The Santa Barbara Camp is the closest FCA Camp to your home (i.e. we will not reimburse your gas if you drive from Iowa to Santa Barbara!) - You have sent 10 support team letters! To be reimbursed, please start your trip with a full tank of gas, save all gas receipts, and fill your car up upon arriving in Santa Barbara. Present your receipts to the Huddle Leader coordinators when you register for Camp. We will double the cost of your gas receipts to account for your trip home.
FCA will not reimburse your cost for flying or taking the train unless you have taken advantage of the support raising option. Read more about that in the sidebar here.
Do I need to bring my own bedding? YES! You will need to bring your own bedding (sheets and blanket or a sleeping bag) and pillow. You will also need to bring your own towels. If you are flying in and cannot pack these things, please let us know ahead of time, so we can provide these for you!
What else do I need to bring? Clothing For our training weekend, you will want to bring "work out" type clothes and running shoes. For the week of Camp, bring clothing and footwear appropriate for your sport (there will be two clinic sessions each day). Casual clothing for the evening sessions (jeans, shorts, etc). UCSB is right on the ocean, so it can get chilly in the evenings - bring a jacket or sweat shirt. Sports Equipment Please bring all the equipment necessary for your sport. Please bring your own water bottle. Some special notes: baseball - please bring long pants for the baseball clinic; football - IF YOU HAVE A HELMENT, bring it, but you do not need to bring pads; surfing - if you have your own board (or boogie board) please bring it! All surfing Huddle Leaders are required to have a full wet suit. Booties are also strongly recommended!; all water sports - please wear swim wear that is in good taste and would represent FCA, and what we stand for as followers of Christ, well. Personal Items -Pillow and bedding (or sleeping bag) -Towel/wash cloth -Toiletries -Alarm clock (or watch or phone with alarm) -Bible and notebook
Who is on the Clinic staff at Camp? Click here to see the Clinic staff for Boys Camp and Girls Camp. Your Clinic Staff will be responsible for planning all Sports Clinic sessions. As a Huddle Leader, your responsibility will be to assist with drills, coach a team, provide individual instruction, and officiate. Unless our Clinician contacts you before Camp, you do not need to come prepared with something ahead of time.
How much free time will I have? Honestly ... very little! It's best to think of your week of FCA Camp as a 24/7 service opportunity! However, you will have free time every afternoon if you'd like to work out or get some training time in. You will also have time every night after the Camper curfew to hang out with other Huddle Leaders, though it will be late. However, there will be plenty of time to build great friendships and memories.
Is there a place I can work out? Yes! We will have rec center passes for Huddle Leaders to use throughout the week. You may take advantage of this facility during free time.
Will I need to bring money? All of your meals will be provided, so you will only need extra money for the occaisional snack at the FCA Store or Starbucks!
Do I need to come prepared with anything else? The best way for you to prepare for FCA Camp is to rest, pray, and ask God to direct you! This will be an amazing week!
